I forgot to blog about the birthday party we went to for Mirza, a little baby around Finn's age that is the nephew of Jasmina, a good friend of mine. It was good to be able to see Jasmina as she is moving soon to join her boyfriend (my "asian brother") in California. Vila is also moving, to Iowa City to go to school, so this is the last summer we will all be together in Iowa. I haven't seen Karina in awhile either, with every weekend I have off lately being taking up with vacations and parties, and other events. =) Now that the vacations are done though, I should be able to see her and her kids soon for a playdate.

I took some video, and my friend Jasmina posted a few pictures of the party that I thought I would share. Finn ran straight for the big boy playground, climbed all the stairs, through multiple tunnels, up to the tallest slide and tried to go down it himself. No fear. Haha, I let him go down on my lap, which he loved. I also discovered that he loves water guns, so I bought him a couple of those to play with this summer. He loves water, so I bought him a little baby pool too. =)

I got Mirza a little B-Music drum and noise maker set that Finn really loves, as well as a book and an outfit. After the B-day party, Finn went to see his Asian grandparents and their duck.
